Tuesday Sept. 4, 2018, for 6th grade students
Wednesday Sept. 5, 2018, for 7th and 8th grades
We will follow the below format:
Teachers will be presenting in ten minute sessions regarding campus and classroom expectations and information. This is not a come and go session, nor one-on-one meetings with teachers as they will be giving presentations. Bells will ring between sessions, and you will have five minutes to move from one session to the next session.
You may choose the order in which you attend your student’s Elective and then Content Area sessions. Should a room be at capacity, we ask that you attend a different one of your student’s classrooms during that session and return to that room for the following session.

It is important to know your student’s Elective and Content Area Teachers before coming to Open House. Rather than walking your child’s schedule, you will attend sessions as follows:
Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, 6th Grade Students’ Parents/Guardians
5:30-6:10 – 6th Grade Elective Teacher Open House:
- Session 1: 5:30-5:40
- Session 2: 5:45-5:55
- Session 3: 6:00-6:10
You will choose any one of your student’s elective teachers to visit in the first session. At the end of that session, you will rotate to the next teacher. The bell will indicate when to move to the next session. You should have an opportunity to hear from each of your child’s elective area teachers, including Fine Arts, World Languages, and PE/Sports Fit Ed.
6:15-6:35 – PTA Meeting — In the Cafeteria
6:40-7:35 – 6th Grade Content Area Teachers:
- Session 4: 6:40-6:50
- Session 5: 6:55-7:05
- Session 6: 7:10-7:20
- Session 7: 7:25-7:35
You will choose which of your student’s content area teachers to visit in Session 4. At the end of that session, you will rotate to the next teacher. The bell will indicate when to move to the next session. You should have an opportunity to hear from each of your child’s content area teachers: History, Language Arts, Math, and Science during Sessions 4-7.

5:30-6:10 – 7th/8th Grade Elective Teacher Open House:
- Session 1: 5:30-5:40
- Session 2: 5:45-5:55
- Session 3: 6:00-6:10

The bell will indicate when to move to the next session. *Electives not presenting this night will be Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics.
6:15-7:10 – 7th/8th Grade Content Area Teachers:
- Session 4: 6:15-6:25
- Session 5: 6:30-6:40
- Session 6: 6:45-6:55
- Session 7: 7:00-7:10

The bell will indicate when to move to the next session. You should have an opportunity to hear from each of your child’s content area teachers: History, Language Arts, Math, and Science during Sessions 4-7.
