What a week! We couldn't think of a better way to head into summer than celebrating our amazing students. ❤️From an talent show, theatre performances, and senior walks to field day and end-of-the-year celebrations, we sent this school year out in style. ☀️ Have an amazing summer, everyone—we can't wait to see you back here in the fall! 🙌✨
Students must leave their backpacks at home on the last day of school, Thursday, May 21. Our educators, coaches, and directors of the band and orchestra have already informed students that backpacks and instruments won't be necessary. Lunch boxes and small personal items like drawstring bags or crossbody bags are permitted; larger bags will be collected in the morning and returned at day's end. Rest assured, teachers will have all the required materials for classroom activities, so students need not bring paper, notebooks, or binders.
Additionally, please note that permanent markers, including Sharpies, are prohibited on the last day.

Round Rock ISD students will need to take home their district-issued Chromebook over the summer. All students’ Classlink and Google accounts will remain available over the summer break.
If you are a graduating senior, please return your device and charger to your school’s ITS before graduation.
Students participating in the district-provided summer learning programs will need to bring their Chromebooks with them each day.

This week we are also celebrating National School Librarian Day, and we are shouting a big THANK YOU to Mrs. Day, our amazing Librarian, and Mrs. Cruz, our wonderful Library Assistant, for everything they do for our Wildcats! Last week, the Walsh Concert, Symphonic, and Honor Bands performed at the Region 26 Concert and Sightreading event at Georgetown HS! Every judge awarded all three bands Superior rankings, the highest official ranking any band can receive at this event!

In collaboration with Hernandez Middle School, Walsh Cheer had the incredible opportunity to perform during halftime at the Austin Spurs basketball game at the H-E-B Center this past weekend. Our athletes represented Walsh with pride, showcasing their hard work, teamwork, and school spirit in front of an enthusiastic crowd. Way to go, Walsh Cheer!
Walsh Dance had a great day this past Saturday at the Vista Ridge Dance Classic, competing in our first-ever dance competition! Both of our ensembles were the highest-scoring routines in our category!! We also had two students receive high awards for their solos! Congrats Walsh Dance!
