Thank you, students, teachers, and community for making the Fall 2025 semester such a wonderful success. Your dedication and support are what make Walsh a special place. As we head into the holiday break, we wish you a restful and joyful season and a very happy New Year. We look forward to welcoming everyone back and seeing you again in 2026!

All 7th grade classes were able to attend an awesome visit from Magnolia Wilds (formerly Barn Hill Preserve) on the final day of our 1st semester. They were taught about each animal's adaptations, environments, and even human impact on the animals, with the animal right there in their presence! How cool is that!

Every coder starts somewhere!💻This week, our students took their first (or next!) step during Hour of Code. Hour of Code is a global, one-hour introduction to computer science and coding, using fun, self-guided activities to show that anyone can learn the basics of coding! 🎮➡️💻 From gamers to coders! Hour of Code showed our students that coding is fun, creative, and a little bit magical ✨🧠

Mrs. Frias and Mrs. Day set up the library with 14 stations related to coding and computer science and opened it up for students at Walsh this week!

The Walsh Theater Department is presenting William Shakespeare's play Macbeth. The students have been preparing for weeks and are excited for everyone to see it. Due to the significant challenges in putting on such a complex play, the performance dates have been changed to Tuesday, November 11, and Wednesday, November 12. Dynamic duos, trios, and teams! Red Ribbon Week is in full swing at Walsh!

Come support the Lady Wildcats tonight as they take on Chisholm Trail in the last game of the season! Both teams will play at Round Rock High School- 7th grade will play in the auxiliary gym, 8th grade will play in the main gym.The B team games start at 5:30pm, the A team games will follow.

Sidenote: The 8th grade teams are both battling for a district championship title!

There will be no school for students on Monday, October 13th.
